The navigation panels offer useful add-ons to your publication: table of contents, search engine and user favorite manager. Some options of these navigation panels can be configured on this tab.

Favorite Manager
Publications support managing user favorites (a.k.a. bookmarks). This is similar to the Internet Explorer or Mozilla FireFox browsers.
Although there is no direct options to configure how the favorite manager should work, you can remove the Favorite Manager from your publication if you don't want to use one: go to the User Interface and set the NoFavorites property of the Menu Bar to True.
Customizing the display of favorites:
It is possible to customize how favorites are displayed: go to the Localization tab, and under Resource Strings, you can modify resource strings that begin with "SFavorite...".
