The Tools menu offers you some functions to define and manage your favorite tools. A tool is a shortcut to a program generally often used, it lets you save time by running this program directly from HTML Executable. Your tools are available from the Tools menu: to open a tool, just click on its name and HTML Executable will executable the associated program.
To configure your tools, use the "Tools|Configure User Tools" menu command.
Managing toolsYour tools are listed in a list view: you can see their names and related files. Three buttons allow you to manage these tools. - The first one called "Add" allows you to add a new tool to the list: clicking on it will open a browser dialog to let you select the program file, and then ask you for a nickname.
- The second one called "Rename" allows you to rename the selected tool: the name will become editable in the list after you have pressed the button. To save changes, click anywhere on the list to make the editing disappear.
- The third one called "Delete" lets you remove the selected tool.
- Finally you can change the order of your tools by using a "drag/drop" operation.
